Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 July 2026
This policy explains what Worldwide IDs collects and why. The data controller for the limited personal data described below is AInur Forge Ltd (“we”, “us”), trading as Worldwide IDs, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17310561, registered office: Unit 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St. Edmunds, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom. Contact hello@worldids.dev.
Generation is local
Generating and validating identifiers on the website runs entirely in your browser. The values you generate or paste are never sent to, seen by, or stored by us.
What we collect, why, and our legal basis
- Waitlist (if you submit it): your email and any optional use-case/interest. Purpose: to notify you when the API/MCP launches. Legal basis: your consent. Retention: until launch or until you ask us to remove it, whichever is first.
- API & security logs: when the API is used we may process the request IP and minimal metadata to apply rate limits and protect the Service. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in security and reliability. We do not log the values you generate or validate.
- Analytics: privacy-friendly, cookieless, aggregate metrics (e.g. Cloudflare Web Analytics). No cross-site tracking or individual profiling.
- Advertising (only if enabled): third-party ad networks may set their own cookies and process data under their own policies; where required we will ask for consent.
Cookies
The site itself sets no tracking cookies, and our analytics is cookieless. Any cookies would come only from third-party advertising, if and when enabled, subject to consent where required.
Sharing and processors
We do not sell personal data. We use service providers (“processors”) to run the Service — e.g. our hosting/CDN provider (Cloudflare) and, if you join the waitlist, email delivery — who process data only on our instructions.
International transfers
Our hosting runs on a global network, so data may be processed in countries other than yours, with appropriate safeguards in place.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or port your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@worldids.dev. EU/UK users may also complain to their data-protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office). We do not sell or “share” personal information as defined under California law.
Security & retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above and apply reasonable safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; the “last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
