Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 17 June 2026
Worldwide IDs provides synthetic, fake identifiers to help developers and QA teams test software. This policy is part of our Terms of Use. By using the Service you agree to it.
Permitted
Testing, QA, development, demos, and education using clearly synthetic data.
Strictly prohibited
- Presenting a generated value as a real identifier to any person, business, or government.
- Applying for accounts, credit, payments, benefits, visas, or any service.
- Impersonation, fraud, identity theft, money laundering, or deception of any kind.
- Evading or defeating identity verification, KYC, AML, age, or sanctions checks.
- Generating data about, or to target, real individuals.
- Any activity that is unlawful in any applicable jurisdiction.
Our safety measures
Where a country publishes reserved or never-issued ranges, we use them so values cannot correspond to a real person; everything else is clearly labelled synthetic. These are good-faith measures — they do not make misuse acceptable. The numbers are for testing only.
Enforcement
We may rate-limit, block, or revoke access for anyone we reasonably believe is violating this policy, and may cooperate with law enforcement where required. Violations may also breach the Terms of Use and applicable law, for which you are responsible.
